Sara Goldman Arno (b. 1992) is a New York native lens based artist. Her practice is rooted in Rhinebeck, NY where she has been conducting a long term time lapse project since 2018, and spans to the big apple where she lives. 

She is the Executive Director of SoMad, a femme and queer led independent art platform, studio, and gallery in the heart of downtown New York. She works across disciplines creating gallery exhibitions, collaborating on film projects, and cultivating a community centered space that makes space for artists do what they do. 

Sara graduated from the SVA with an MFA in Photo, Video and Related Media (2019) and from Middlebury College with a degree in Environmental Studies and Human Ecology (2014.5). Sara is on the board of Upstate Films in the Hudson Valley and the Lillian Goldman Charitable Trust. If she had an alternate career it would be improvising lyrics for music videos.
